The project is designed for a cyclo convertor technique by thyristors. Induction motors in particular are very robust and therefore used in many domestic appliances such as washing machines, vacuum cleaners, water pumps, and used in industries as well. The induction motor is known as a constant-speed machine, the difficulty of varying its speed by a cost effective device is one of its main disadvantages.
As the AC supply frequency cannot be changed, so this project uses a thyristor controlled cyclo converter which enables the control of speed in steps for an induction motor. The microcontroller used in this project is from 8051 family, a pair of slide switches is provided to select the desired speed range (F, F/2 and F/3) of operation of the waveforms. These switches are interfaced to the microcontroller.

The system utilizes Current Transformers (CT) on each transformer's output to monitor the real-time load, converting high currents into measurable voltages for an Arduino microcontroller. The Arduino continuously processes these inputs and compares them against a predefined safety threshold; if the primary transformer exceeds its capacity, the Arduino triggers a Relay to share the load with a secondary transformer or switch to a backup. Simultaneously, an LCD displays the current load values for both units, while a Buzzer provides an immediate audible alert during overload conditions. This setup is integrated with a simulated Transmission Tower structure to represent the distribution network, ensuring that the power flow remains stable without damaging the transformer windings. By automating this "load sharing" process, the system prevents overheating, reduces the risk of power outages, and maintains a balanced supply across the grid.

A transformer protection system using Arduino can monitor key parameters like voltage, current, temperature, and oil levels to ensure safe operation. It uses sensors to detect abnormal values and triggers alarms or shutdowns in case of anomalies. Voltage and current sensors monitor electrical overloads, while temperature sensors keep track of transformer overheating. Oil level sensors ensure that the cooling system is functioning properly. The Arduino board processes the sensor data in real-time and controls protective relays to prevent damage to the transformer.

PROJECTRONICS You have to arrange - 1 - 24x18 plywood or ny hardsheet 2 - Gluegun and stick We deals with - Inhouse project training in school and colleges - Online class/help for invidual projects - 1000s of readymade projects - Customized circuits on request - Both electronics and art n craft materila, retail and wholeselling sale Abstarct - The system employs two Current Transformers (CTs) to monitor the current at the sending and receiving ends of the power line. The AC outputs from these CTs are rectified into DC voltage signals and fed into the non-inverting and inverting inputs of an LM358 Voltage Comparator. Under normal operating conditions, these voltages remain balanced; however, an illegal "hook" connection causes a current differential, shifting the voltage levels and triggering the comparator's output to go HIGH. This high signal acts as a trigger for a 555 Timer IC, configured in a one-shot (monostable) or latching mode to provide a stable control pulse. The output of the 555 Timer simultaneously activates a local Buzzer and switches the gate of a BT136 Triac. This Triac serves as the electronic switch within a Solid State Relay circuit, effectively disconnecting the load to halt further power theft. Because there is no LCD, the system relies on the status of the buzzer and a physical LED for visual indication. This project uses an Arduino as the central controller to monitor a transformer's health parameters and provide automated protection. A Current Transformer (CT) monitors the load current passing through the LED bulb, triggering an overload alert if the current exceeds a set threshold. Line voltage is monitored via a preset (potentiometer) acting as a voltage divider, allowing the Arduino to detect overvoltage or undervoltage conditions. For thermal monitoring, a 10k NTC thermistor measures the transformer's temperature, while a creative water-based float system (using a thermocool ball and metal plates) simulates an oil level sensor by completing a circuit when the level drops. When any parameter crosses its safety limit, the Arduino activates a buzzer for local signaling and sends a remote alert via the HC-05 Bluetooth module (configured for SMS) to a paired device. All real-time data, including current, voltage, and temperature, is displayed on a 16x2 LCD for easy local monitoring. This multi-sensor approach ensures the transformer is protected against the most common causes of failure: overheating, low insulation (oil), and electrical faults.
