The entire circuit of microphone amplifier is build around operational amplifier 741. Op-amp 741 can be used in both inverting mode and non inverting mode according to necessary. Here we use 741 in inverting mode because at inverting mode input impedance is low. A microphone is a transducer which changes sound energy into electric signal. Microphone detects sound and changes it into electric signal which is very weak and need amplification before given to loudspeaker. The output of microphone is given to pin 2 of IC1 through resistor R1 as shown in circuit diagram. The output is taken from pin 6 of IC1. The value of amplified output is equal to R1/R2 where value of resistance R1 is set according to impedance of microphone. Here we used resistor R4 as load resistor. This output connected to a microcontroller through a transistor based amplifier. That microcontroller detects signal from the amplifier and toggle its output. That output is connected to a TRIAC based relay. 230v load is connected through relay. Here we control the high voltage load using a low voltage by this relay. A MOC3021 ic is connected between microcontroller and relay for isolation.

Here we have a transmitter at the helmet and the receiver at the bike. There is a switch used to sure the wearing of helmet on the head. The ON condition of the switch ensures the placing of the helmet in proper manner. An alcohol sensor is placed near to the mouth of the driver in the helmet to detect the presence of alcohol. The data to be transferred is coded with RF encoder and transmitted through radio frequency transmitter. The receiver at the bike receives the data and decodes it through RF decoder. The engine should not ON if any of the two conditions is violated. MCU controls the function of relay and thus the ignition, it control the engine through a relay and a relay interfacing with the circuit.
